back to the office floor.

Kaia rolled her eyes. “Triggered? Please. If you're so obsessed with comparisons, why don’t we start with

something that actually matters? Like win rates. Case volume. Billings. Which one do you want to lose at first?”

Ophelia was stunned silent. She couldn't touch Kaia on any of those fronts.

Vanessa and Warren exchanged a look.

“Ms. Graham, obviously,” Vanessa said. “She’s been trying to dig up dirt on Kaia’s husband for weeks. Now she’s

acting smug because she thinks he drives a Lexus.”

Jude’s expression twitched.

“It’s fine,” Kaia said smoothly. “She's just looking for

ways to poke at us because our team’s doing well. Let her keep talking. By the end of the year, she'll have a lot
