She whirled around to Kayla. “Quick, let’s block the door. We've got to make them work for it before they're

Downstairs, the noise was growing louder. The groomsmen had started coming up the stairs.

In the bedroom, Kaia sat on the edge of the bed in her wedding dress, veil draped over her head. Her heart was
