worth more than twice what Domley Tech was worth.

Kaia shot her father a cold look before turning to Allen. “Five percent is too much. | can’t accept that.”

While she had no issue claiming shares from her father’s company, this was different. Taking such a significant

stake in Lucien’s business felt wrong, especially now that they were together.

“Don’t worry. We're not getting divorced, and if we ever do, it will be because | screwed up. If that day comes, I'll

accept whatever punishment | deserve. I'll pay the price for my own mistakes.”

fingers. With a light tug, he pulled her entire hand into his palm, his lips curling into a satisfied grin.

It was as if what he held onto wasn’t just Kaia’s hand. It felt like he was holding his whole world.

As Lucien slowly brushed his thumb across the curve between her thumb and forefinger, he asked, “Mr. Tobias

Domont, are you satisfied with this arrangement?”

Hearing that formal address, Tobias knew it was his cue to make a move. But now, the card in his pocket loaded
