Lucien held her by the waist and drew her in, their faces so close that if he lowered his head even slightly, his

lips would brush her delicate nose. He murmured, “I'm not done eating.”

But before she could get the words out, Lucien’s shadow fell over her, and his lips captured hers, cutting her off

heat of his kiss.
