"Can't you tell that she was putting on a show the whole time?" Hera interrupted Margaret.

"Was she acting?" Margaret was startled. "But it's a serious business negotiation. How could she be fooling around?"

"If it really were that easy, would Brenda have let us take credit for landing the deal?" Hera answered with a question of her own.

Margaret faltered, knowing that Hera was right. Brenda sought out XS Corporation for half a year and did not manage to secure the

contract. She certainly looked rather smug while pushing the responsibility to Hera.

Margaret and Hera had only been at Jadonia for a few days. Although their attempts to book an appointment hadn't gone well, it

only took them a few days to reach Giselle. Perhaps it was too easy, after all.

"Maybe Brenda didn't approach the right person. Well, what should we do?" For a moment, Margaret was at a loss as the matter
