Zoey watched as Yvette walked in, bundled up tightly, with only her fair face visible.
She had to admit that Yvette was beautiful-her features were delicate, especially her eyes, which looked as if they had been hand-drawn.
Even though Yvette was dressed in many layers, her curvaceous figure was still discernible. Zoey knew she was attractive too, but standing next to Yvette, it felt like she lacked something. "The stuff you sentis useless. Don't waste your time; I'm not easily scared," Zoey declared, trying to take control of the conversation.
Yvette thought, "If you're not afraid, why did you arrive before I did?" She didn't call Zoey out on it but instead pulled out a document and handed it to her.

"You investigated me?" Zoey asked with the paternity test results in her hands. Her first reaction hadn't been about the results themselves, but rather to accuse Yvette of investigating her. Yvette's heart grew cold at that. "So, you knew all along that you're Yara's daughter." Fearing that Yvette might reveal this to Gemma, Zoey quickly explained, "I only found out yesterday when Yara told me. That's when I learned you're my sister." Zoey reached out to take Yvette's hand. "If I had known earlier, I would never have hurt you. We're sisters, after all-I'm not like Terrence." But Yvette pulled her hand away, her eyes filled with cold indifference. Truth be told, Zoey was far less convincing than Daphne when it cto acting. Yvette had been deceived by Daphne before, so she wasn't about to trust Zoey so easily now. "I didn't chere to reconnect as sisters. I'm here to warn you-if it happens again, don't expectto hold back against you," Yvette warned icily.
Zoey's expression stiffened.
As Yvette stood up to leave, she added, "And don't think being the Yandell family's eldest daughter means anything. Everything the Yandell family has now was stolen from the Snyder family. I will take it all back, piece by piece." As Yvette's figure disappeared from view, Zoey stomped her foot resentfully.
"Fuck! Who does she think she is to threaten me?" She had been pampered all her life, but it was only during this tthat she was disgraced in front of Jeremiah and Yvette.
Zoey swore to make Yvette pay. Sisters? Ha! Yvette wasn't worthy of being her sister. Zoey didn't need a sister, either.
After Yvette left the restaurant, she braved the cold wind and looked at the snow-covered surroundings, feeling exhausted both physically and mentally.
Instead of going home, she took a cab to the cemetery in the western suburbs, where she bought a bouquet as usual and placed it in front of James' gravestone.
Viola was both right and wrong about Yvette. Yvette longed for familial love but had long been disillusioned by Yara and those people. She had no hope of receiving care from them.
"Dad, I miss you so much." The cold wind howled, and all she got in response was the biting cold. Yvette didn't mind it. She stood in the cemetery for a long time.

Noah was taken to the hospital by Ray for a routine check-up, and Viola was at hwith the household servants.
Yara, dressed in luxurious attire, stood in the otherwise ordinary living room, her eyes and heart full of pride. "Viola, you sure are lucky. My
daughter is here to take care of you in your old age, huh? Ashec biological e mother must say I'm disappointed."
Yara looked at Hannah taking care of Viola and Grace in the kitchen m Though the place was small, it had everything it needed to have.
Viola coldly snorted in response.
"Swomen only know how to give birth but not how to raise their It children. To even talk about being a mother is laughable." Like RICH WOMEN? These women desperately want a mature men! JOIN NOW *Waming these rich women will persue you.
