Chapter 706 I Hate You
It took a long while for Jolene to prop herself up. She looked at James and Jenny standing
together as if they were the couple and she was the mistress.
A thunderstorm of emotions surged through her chest.
"I'm your fiancee, James! How could you do this to me?" Jolene looked at James with tears
in her eyes, holding back her pain. She thought he would appreciate her effort these past
few days and would at least stand up for her at that moment.
Alas, he did not.
Jenny looked at her coldly, but James' gaze was even colder.
He walked toward her and lifted her chin. "Who let you in here? Who do you think you
are?"
"If you want to stay in my house, you'll have to suck it up. Don't you dare say that
something is going on between Jenny and me. Even if there was, you have no right to

red.
Jolene was so angry that she burst into sobs, but crying was no use. James would only
hate her even more.
"Fuck off!" He waved her off, not wishing to see her for another second.
In that instant, Jenny pitied Jolene. But she had only herself to blame. This was all her
doing.
Jolene left. She couldn't stay. Things would only be worse if she did. However, Jenny had
now witnessed another side to James.
"Sorry about that. She disrupted your mood," James apologized to Jenny. He was even a
little embarrassed to meet her eyes.
Jenny shook her head. She didn't mind. "Why did you let her stay with you if you hate her
so much?"
James could ignore her completely. Their engagement didn't matter. As long as they didn't
marry, there was really nothing much between them.
After some time, once they found something to use against Jolene, they would have a
reason to cancel the wedding. If that happened, even the Windsors would have nothing to
say.
"Since she wants to be with me so much, I'll fulfill her wishes." He just wasn't sure if she
regretted it yet.
James' face was dark and moody. Jenny rarely ever saw this side of him." Are you planning
on marrying her?"
"Let's just eat." James didn't reply to her question. There were just some things that he
couldn't change.
Jenny didn't press the issue. She knew it as well.
Jolene, who had left the restaurant, called Rowena on her phone. Her mother met up with
her quickly and sent her to the hospital.

"I hate her, Mom." Jolene's gaze was empty as she lay on the hospital bed.
Hurt and resentment bubbled in Rowena's heart when she saw the state her daughter was
in. "Don't worry. I'll make Jenny pay."
"Can you really?" Jolene wasn't too sure.
Seeing her daughter lose confidence, Rowena whispered something in her ear, and
Jolene's eyes instantly brightened. "Is that for real, Mom? Can we really take down the
Walters?" Jolene no longer cared whether she could inherit Walter Inc. All she cared about
was not letting Jenny win.
Jenny would be an easy target if she didn't have the Walters to fall back on.
Rowena shushed her and said softly, "I've already contacted your uncle. Someone is
cooperating with us in Walter Inc, too. Don't worry. They will meet their demise soon
enough." "That's fantastic." Jolene and Rowena shared the same thoughts. If Graham was
going to play favorites, they would just demolish the Walters. Without the Walters, Jenny
would be a nobody.
