Chapter 7 The Omega: Mated To The Four Chapter Seven-1 Was this skind of sick joke from the goddess? My new wolf form effortlessly navigating the terrain. The trees blurred pastas I sprinted through the forest, the cool night air whipping against hy fur.
"Let's go back", Sky said trying hard to take control and turn us back! "No!", I said and continued running.
Behind me, I could hear the sounds of pursuit a number of paws hit the ground. I didn't need to look back to know who it was. Their scents were unmistakable, each one distinct and familiar in a way that made my heart ache with confusion. Elijah's scent, strong and commanding, was accompanied by the deep resonant howl of a black wolf. Isaiah's presence was marked by a softer, more contemplative gray wolf, his footsteps almost silent against the forest floor. The Vandabelt twins were close behind, their chestnut brown forms moving in perfect unison, their combined presence à formidable force.
"Stormi, wait!" Elijah's voice echoed in my mind, the bond between us allowing for this strange new form of communication.
I pushed harder, my muscles burning with the effort. I didn't want to hear what they had to say. I didn't want to believe in this bond, this sudden change in our dynamics. It was too much, too soon.

I growled back, my voice raw with emotion. "Just leavealone!" And then I heard it Mariah's desperate howl as the forest opened up to a small clearing, and I skidded to a halt, my breath coming in ragged gasps as I answered her. The boys closed in around me, their eyes glowing in the moonlight, each one reflecting their wolf's form.
*Stormi, we just want to talk," Alex, said, his tone uncharacteristically gentle.
I took a deep breath, forcing myself to calm down enough to speak. don't want to talk. I want you to leavealone." Elijah stepped forward, his black fur blending into the shadows. "We can't do that. Not now. Not when we feel this bond and we know you're our mate", I shook my head, my fur bristling with frustration. "You hated me. You tormented me. How can you expectto accept any of this?" Isaiah's gray form moved closer, his eyes filled with sincerity. "We didn't know, Stormi. We didn't understand. But this bond... it's real. We feel it just as strongly as you do." "You didn't know? The least you could have done was to treatwith decency but instead, you made my life here a living hell!", I growled The twins, their chestnut-brown forms almost blending into the background, nodded in agreement. "We know we've been horrible to you," Austin admitted, his voice low. "But we want to make it right." A bitter laugh escaped me. "Make it right? Do you think you can just erase all those years of torment with a few words? I can't trust you. I can't trust any of you." The boys looked at each other, their expressions a mix of regret and determination. “We understand why you feel that way," Elijah said quietly. "But we're asking for a chance to prove ourselves." I stared at them, my mind a whirlwind of emotions. Part ofwanted to believe them, to give in to the bond that was pulling at 1/2 Chapter Seven-1 my very soul. But the scars of the past were too deep, too taw.
"I can't do this," I whispered, my volçe trembling, "I can't be tied to this place, to you. I need to leave, to find my own path.
"Stormi, please," Isaiah pleaded. "Don't make any hasty decisions. Give us a chance to show you that we can change." I closed my eyes, the weight of their words pressing down on me. Bi I knew what I had to do. Taking a deep breath, I opened my eyes and looked at each of them in turn.
*1, Stormi, reject you, Eli.....," I began, my voice steady despite the urmoil inside me.
Before I could finish my rejection, a flash of dark brown fur barreled into the clearing, Mariah, her eyes filled with worry, was followed closely by the Alpha, his imposing black wolf form marked by a striking strip of gray running from his snout to his belly. Their sudden appearance halted everything, the weight of their presence demanding attention.

The Alpha's gaze was just as intense, his authority palpable even in his wolf form. "We need to understand what's happening. You can't make such a decision now." I hesitated, my heart still pounding from the rush of emotions. The bond with Elijah, ftaiah, and the Vandabelt twins was undeniable, but so was the weight of my past and the need to leave this place that has never shownany kindness. Mariah and the Alpha's intervention leftfeeling conflicted.
With a gentle nudge and a few licks, prothewolf Mariah guidedback towards the pack house, the boys following closely behind. Their wolf formsm flankedhusca protective barrier as we made our way through the forest. Back at the house, I stopped myself from shifting back into my human form because I was going to be naked so I hid behind Mariah who had just shifted back and changed into her clothes. The Luna then cout with a bed sheet and handed it to Mariah who coveredas I shifted my body still trembling from the intensity of my first shift. The boys had shifted as well, their eyes never leaving me.

"No, I don't want to stay here let's just go and we can sort this out tomorrow ", I said.
Inside the house, the atmosphere was tense and charged with curiosity. The Alpha spoke first, his voice calm but authoritative. "Silver wolves haven't been seen in a hundred years. We thought the lineage had died out. We need to understand your wolf, Stormi." I nodded, still feeling overwhelmed. Elijah stepped forward, his eyes filled with a mix of concern and protectiveness. "She should get srest first and change into something comfortable." Isaiah quickly added, "I have a shirt she can wear." He took his T-shirt off.
Before I could respond, Alex and Austin chimed in, each offering their own clothing. The boys started pushing each other, vying for the chance to givetheir shirt. It was a surreal moment, seeing the four of them, usually so composed and commanding, acting almost childish in their eagerness.
"Enough," the Alpha's voice cut through the commotion, commanding silence. "Behave yourselves." Mariah stepped in, gently guidingtowards a chair. "Here, sit down. I'll help you get settled." Elijah managed to pass his shirt to Mariah, who handed it towith a reassuring smile. Grateful for the support, I slipped on Elijah's shirt. It was large and comfortable, and his scent was oddly soothing.
The boys, still trying to be close to me, began subtly pushing each other, each one attempting to sit nearest to where I was. Mariah noticed and shook her head, her eyes filled with a mixture of amusement and exasperation. "You four need to calm down."
With a firm but gentle hand, she guided them to sit properly, then settled herself next to me. The room was filled with the pack's no most influential members: Isaiah's parents, the Vandabelt twins, and their parents, the Luna, and the Alpha himself. All eyes were on me, and their gazes were almost suffocating.
The Alpha cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention. "Stormi, your shift into a silver wolf is significant. It's a sign that your lineage was once powerful and rare but everyone here will agree withthat they all died out hundreds of years ago but I will make a call to the Umbral Society headquarters and let them know about this and I'm sure they will help us out." I nodded, trying to process everything. The Umbral Society, the witches that protect us during The Lunar Redemption Day.
