Chapter 32 2/2 The Omega: Mated To The Four Chapter Thirty Two-1 The day had arrived, bright and crisp, with the air humming in anticipation. Mariah had practically shoved the dress into my hands that morning, her eyes sparkling with excitement. It was soft silver, owing and simple, yet somehow elegant. The way it hugged my waist and cascaded down to my knees madefeel like I belonged here. It was a strange sensation.
"I can't believe you're actually going this year," Mariah said as she helpedzip up the back.
"Why wouldn't 1?" I replied, avoiding her gaze in the mirror.
"Last year, you spent the entire night hiding behind a tree, remember?" I didn't respond. Of course, I remembered. Last year had been... lonely. Watching the pack celebrate from the shadows had only remindedof how disconnected I felt-from them.
As midnight approached, I felt an unfamiliar emptiness creeping in. was the happened every year-the moment when our connection to our wolf faded completely. I never experienced it because I had no wolf it lefthollow and restless. It was a cruel irony that on the one night the moon was at its fullest, the thing that made us whole was stripped away. When I stepped outside, I wasn't surprised to see them waiting for me. Alex, Austin, Isaiah, and Elijah stood near the bottom of the steps, their eyes immediately locking on me. They weren't in their usual casual clothes; they'd dressed for the occasion.
My heart thudded in my chest, and I wasn't sure if it was because of how they looked or the intensity in their gazes.
"Wow," Alex said, breaking the silence. "You look... stunning." Austin whistled low, elbowing his brother. "Understatement of the year." Isaiah stepped forward, his lips twitching into a small smile. "They're right, you know." Elijah didn't say anything, but the way his eyes softened as he looked atsaid enough.

For a moment, none of us spoke. They just stood there, looking atlike I was the only person in the world. And for the first time, I wasn't sure if the knot in my stomach was fear or something else entirely.
"You ready?" Elijah finally asked, offering his hand.
I hesitated. It wasn't the offer itself that madepause-it was the way his hand hovered in the air, steady and unwavering, like he'd wait forever if that's what I needed.
1 Just as doubt began to creep in, something insideshifted.
They hadn't ignoredthis time. They hadn't bullied me, or pushedaway, or treatedlike I was invisible. They looked atnow with love and adoration, and though it terrified me, it also... melted something.
I nodded, letting out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. "I'm ready." I said and took his hand.
The Lunar Redemption Day celebrations were in full swing by the twe reached the main clearing. Music drifted through the air, mingling with the laughter and chatter of the pack. A band made up of elders played, the music was like always felt like a tale being told. The drumbeat hit first-steady, deep, and unrelenting, like the Heartbeat of the earth itself. It didn't just fill the air; it seemed to move through me, groundingto the moment. Chapter Comments 3 POST COMMENT NOW 2/2 The Omega: Mated To The Four Chapter Thirty Two-2 The music wasn't just something to listen to-it felt like it was speaking to something deep inside me. It was wild and free, yet full of purpose, like it was connected to something much older and much bigger than us. Children darted between the adults, their faces painted like wolves, while couples danced under the moonlight. The pack house had been transformed overnight into a scene that looked like it was pulled straight from a fairy tale. Silver ribbons swayed gently in the breeze, and lanterns hung from every tree, glowing faintly in the early evening light. The smell of freshly baked bread and roasted meat wafted through the air, making my stomach growl despite the nerves fluttering in my chest.
Mariah spottedalmost immediately, her face lighting up with a knowing grin. She elbowedas she walked by, whispering, "They're not taking their eyes off you, you know." "Shut up," I muttered, but I couldn't stop the small smile that tugged at my lips. We moved toward the center of the clearing, where the pack elders were preparing for the ceremonial rites. I kept my distance, not wanting to draw too much attention to myself. But that didn't stop my mates from hovering nearby, always within arm's reach.
"You doing okay?" Austin asked, his voice low as he stepped beside me. "I'm fine," I replied, folding my arms. He tilted his head, studying me. "You don't look fine. You look like you're about to bolt." I shot him a glare. "I'm not going to bolt." "Good," he said, grinning. "Because if you did, we'd just follow you anyway." I rolled my eyes but couldn't suppress the small laugh that escaped.
As the night went on, I found myself relaxing more than I expected. The twins keptentertained with their playful banter, while Isaiah and Elijah were quieter, offering small comments or nods of encouragement when I caught their gazes.
It was strange, being surrounded by them like this. A year ago, I wouldn't have thought it possible. But now... now it felt like they were breaking through the walls I'd spent so long building.
When the ceremonial rites began, the entire pack fell silent, their heads bowed as the elders spoke. I closed my eyes, letting the words wash over me, feeling a flicker of connection to something greater than myself.
The moon hung high above us, its light bathing the clearing in a silvery glow. It was beautiful, haunting, and for the first tin years, I didn't feel alone.
After the ceremony, the music resumed, and couples began to fill the dance floor.
I stayed on the outskirts, content to watch.

"I don't dance," I replied, shaking my head.
"Everyone dances," Austin chimed in, grabbing my hand.
Before I could protest, they were pullingtoward the center of the clearing, their laughter echoing around us.
It was awkward at first, but their enthusiasm was infectious. Alex twirledaround tically, while Austin pretended to waltz,
makinglaugh despite myself. Even Isaiah and Elijah joined in, their usual seriousness melting away as they moved with 1/2 Chapter Thirty Two-2 surprising grace.
For the first tin a long time, I let myself enjoy the moment.
As the night wore on, I found myself edge of the of the m standing near the moon rise the the clearing, watching higher in the sky. Elijah appeared beside me, his hands in his pockets.
"I'm glad you're here," he said quietly,
I glanced at him, surprised by the vulnerability in his voice) "I didn't m e really have a choice. Mariah would've draggedhere if I said no." He chuckled softly. "Still. I'm happy to spend this day with my mate I looked away, unsure how to respond.
For a moment, I didn't say anything. Then I nodded, my voice barely audible. too." And for the first time, I realized I meant it.
