And Aurelia seemed to have a death wish, unafraid of their mutual destruction, immune to intimidation.
"He's my husband, and | won't let you take my place," voiced Megan, her words seething with anger.

Leopold glanced at her with disdain, “I'm marrying her, and not even the Almighty can stop me, let alone you. I'll have my lawyers draft the divorce papers. A conniving witch like you doesn't deserve to be my wife." Megan felt as if struck by lightning, her world spinning.
Tanya stepped in, playing peacemaker, "Leopold, she's carrying your child. For the baby's sake, let's not embarrass her too much." "She deserves it," Leopold retorted coldly, "A woman who tries to threaten me only has one way out." His voice was icy, sending chills through the air.
Megan was on the verge of hysteria, "I'm carrying your child, and you can't do this to me." "The child’s life is the only mercy you'll receive from me," Leopold snorted.
The onlookers savored the in silence, stealing glances at the unfolding spectacle.
Jewel quickly whisked Megan away to their room.
"Leopold despises you now. Keep a low profile, or it's your reputation on the line," Jewel cautioned.
Megan stomped her foot in frustration, "When will the Boss give me the antidote?" Jewel shrugged, "You think making an antidote is easy? The Boss is busy with more important things than catering to your needs." Megan gritted her teeth, "Then he should send an assassin for Lana. That woman is humiliating me, and if she doesn't die, my hatred will never be appeased." "Lana is well-guarded. Leopold treats her like a treasure, making an assassination near impossible," Jewel explained, "Even if she dies, someone else will take her place. You're in Leopold's bad books. Unless you can find a way to win back his favor, he will divorce you."
