Chapter 650 Aurelia shot Leopold a meaningful look before quickly pulling out her phone, bowing her head to focus on the screen, and pretending she hadn't seen or heard a thing.

The day was overcast, a thick blanket of clouds concealing the stars and moon above.

They sat under a grand old oak tree, whose dense canopy was blocking the glow of the street lamps, making it a perfect cloak of darkness.

Megan seethed with a level of hatred towards Aurelia that ate her up inside. She wished nothing more than to tip her apart and drain her of life. She couldn't understand what this wretched woman possessed that had Leopold so spellbound, treasuring her like a precious jewel in his hand.

After all, Leopold had always been ice-cold to women, never batting an eye at even the most beautiful or accomplished ones.

"She must have slipped him a love potion or something. | bet she knows switch doctor and that all her power is from dark magic; Megan hissed.

Upon hearing this, Aurelia rolled her eyes in exasperation. It was becoming clear that Megan's delusions were getting worse by the day. If Megan didn't seek psychiatric help soon, she might lose her grip on reality entirely.

Jewel interjected, “Black magics aren't as miraculous as you think. If witch doctors were that powerful, wouldn't they be ruling the world by now?" “What do you know?" Megan snapped back with a glare. "Just find out who her witch doctor is. | must eliminate this threat if I'm to have any peace." "I haven't found a single clue. Aurelia and the people around her have never set foot in any place known for such practices," Jewel responded.

“That's impossible. You must have missed something,” Megan said, unconvinced, utterly sure that Aurelia had cursed her and unwilling to accept any other explanation.

Jewel pursed her lips, thinking Megan far too obstinate to admit defeat.

“I think you might have got hypnotized if it's not sleepwalking. But, as far as | know, only one person can hypnotize someone so silently and invisibly." "Who?" Megan demanded urgently.

Jewel leaned in and whispered so softly that only Megan could hear. "The Boss!" Megan shuddered at the mention. "Have you seen this Boss?" "Nobody knows what the Boss looks like. But they say he's the most formidable person alive; Jewel murmured.

Megan believed the Boss was powerful but was skeptical that he was the only one capable of such fearshypnotic skills.

The world was all about powerful people, and there was always someone better.

Aurelia overheard Jewel's hushed tones and strained her ears to catch who they were talking about, but their voices were too faint.

She cast a glance towards Leopold, whose eyes were profoundly thoughtful, mirroring the dark abyss of the night.

"Skyler toldthe world's most formidable hypnotist is his brother, Geoffrey. Could they be talking about the sperson?" she whispered to Leopold, covering her mouth.

Leopold lifted a hand and gently stroked her hair but remained silent.

Megan kicked a pebble into the lake, her thoughts swirling with dark intent.

“If the Boss is that powerful, let him hypnotize Leopold to fall in love withand loveonly." “You can take that request up with the Boss yourself, see if he'll oblige,” Jewel said with a smirk, knowing the Boss wouldn't bother with such trivial matters.

Megan pouted. She truly wanted Leopold to adore her, to treat her as his queen of the Stirling family and their son as the prince.

As for Aurelia and her offspring, Megan wished them a swift and irrelevant demise.

“If the Boss can helpmarry Leopold, why can't he helpkeep a firm hold on his heart?" “Hypnotism is temporary. Once it wears off, the man will regain his senses. If you want to capture a man’s heart, you need more than tricks. You must have your merits,” Jewel said, her words laced with mockery.
