need lipstick, Lily’s ears burned with shame.
Her lips were swollen from his endless kisses-of course they were red.
She had never been this humiliated in her life.
And when the artist covered the marks on her neck with foundation, smiling and joking about how sweet her
relationship with James must be, she wanted nothing more than to crawl into a hole and disappear.
Out of concern for her, James only agreed to the indoor photos for that day.
After leaving the bridal shop, he went to meet Blanc in his study at the Luke estate, while Lily went to the
princess room Nancy had prepared for her.
Madam Luke insisted the two of them stay the night at the estate. They were in the middle of their honeymoon
