Since Martha had just undergone surgery, Betty was worried she might feel lonely, so she decided to visit her at

entrance.
Since Wynn was waiting downstairs, that meant Trevor must be inside.
Sure enough, when Celeste and Betty entered the hospital room, Trevor was there.
Seeing them, he greeted them.
Celeste’s expression remained indifferent.
Martha, on the other hand, was delighted to see them. She held Betty's hand and said, “I have to trouble my
dear old friend to visitagain.”
