Seeing Jagoan standing at the door in a daze, Angela couldn’t help but ask, “Mr. Wade, what’s the matter?”

After taking a seat with Angela, Jagoan took out his mobile phone and sent a message to Zachary, who had recently
become Don Albert’s trusted military advisor. He asked Zachary to meet him at the mid- level villa in Elys-Champ
Hot Spring at noon the following day.
Zachary had been doing an excellent job, reorganizing Don Albert’s industries and personnel with great success. As

After ordering some light dishes, Angela took the initiative to apologize to Jagoan, saying, “Mr. Wade, I’m really
sorry… I should have informed you about my arrival in Aurous Hill in advance…”
Jagoan could sense her embarrassment and felt the need to reassure her. He smiled and replied, “Isn’t a pleasant
surprise sometimes the best kind?”
Upon hearing this, Angela’s joy became apparent, and she couldn’t help but ask, “Really? Do you truly think so?”
“Absolutely.” Although Jagoan’s response went against his true feelings, he understood that Angela had traveled a
long way and he couldn’t afford to be indifferent. It would have been a huge disappointment for her, potentially
impacting her entire experience in Aurous Hill. All he needed to do was show a hint of surprise to ease her
embarrassment and confusion.
Angela’s reaction was just as Jagoan had anticipated. Upon hearing his affirmation, her worries seemed to
dissipate, and a radiant smile instantly graced her face. She glanced at Jagoan with a touch of shyness and
whispered, “I was afraid that coming to Aurous Hill without informing you would cause you trouble…”
“No,” Jagoan waved his hand without hesitation, “You are my friend. When I came to Hong Kong, you took good
care of me, and now that you’ve come to Aurous Hill to pursue your goals, I couldn’t be happier. If you ever need
any assistance in Aurous Hill, please don’t hesitate to ask.”
Angela beamed with delight, nodding enthusiastically. “Okay, I will remember that!”
Jagoan smiled and then deliberately acted as if he had just remembered something.
He then asked, “By the way, what is your relationship with Cathy, the girl I saw in the dormitory earlier? How do you
know each other?”

Angela answered truthfully, “Cathy is the granddaughter of a close friend of my grandfather. She’s a Malaysian
overseas Chinese, and she’s starting her studies at Aurous Hill University this year. By the way, Cathy mentioned
that you know her new roommate?”
“Yes,” Jagoan nodded, “Coincidentally, one of my younger sisters is also studying at Aurous Hill University this year,
and I never expected them to end up as roommates in the same dormitory and major.”
Angela exclaimed, “What a small world! I had planned to settle into Aurous Hill University first and then find an
opportunity to let you know that I was here, but I didn’t anticipate running into you when I went to visit Cathy’s
dormitory today. It feels so… So destined…”
