Zeba was all too familiar with Jarvis’ smooth-talking ways.

He’d spout off about chivalry and “ladies first” every day, but she knew better than to fall for his flattery.

She wasn’t about to let him get the upper hand.

She didn’t waste her time on him, nor did she owe him any favors.

If he wanted to check out the cavalry guards, that was his prerogative.

Zeba wasn’t looking for any credit, so why not take this opportunity to explore and learn something new?

“If you’re set on the cavalry guards, Jarvis, I’ll stay put and wish you the best of luck,” she said coolly.

With that, she made a move to open the car door and stepped out.

Jarvis practically blurted out, “Zeba, there’s no way you can get to the village or the store.

What are you doing here? Why don’t we head to Bergen together? When we get there, I’ll head to the airport to

investigate, and you can check out the port.

My hunch is that Maria probably left by boat, so you might find some leads there.”

But Zeba wasn’t having any of it.

She simply ignored him and made her way out of the car. She ran her fingers through her flowing locks with a dash

of panache and a smile.

“Going to the port to find a ship is a far cry from going fishing for clues,” she quipped.

“So, any bright ideas, Jarvis?”

“I’m not exactly a genius, but I have an idea,” Jarvis replied, his eyes bright with determination.

“Maria went missing here, so there have to be some leads nearby.

I was thinking of checking into a cozy little hotel and doing some investigating for a few days.

But for you, Jarvis, you need to get to Bergen.

Don’t waste any more time here,” she urged him.

“Okay, I’ll head to Bergen Airport first to look for clues,” Jarvis replied with a helpless shrug.

“The Cavalry Guards were sent directly to Bergen Airport, so I’m going to trace their journey and see if I can find

any information about what happened to Maria.

If you don’t leave Bergen soon, we can still hang out for a few days.”

Zeba’s expression turned serious.

“I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to stay in Bergen for too long.

Why not go to Cyprus and find the family members of those Cavalry Guards? They might have some information

that could help us,” she suggested, her voice firm with conviction.

“Don’t worry,” Jarvis assured Zeba.

He had plenty of contacts, but he was secretly thrilled to have an excuse to spend a few more days with her.

“I don’t think there should be any problems with the Cavalry Guards who came to Bergen last time.

The most likely scenario is that they were discovered by the enemy in advance, which led to the army being wiped

out, just like what happened in New York.

So I think there are still more clues to be found here, and going to Cyprus wouldn’t make much sense.”

Zeba shrugged, thinking to herself, “This is getting tedious.

Why is he sticking to me like a leech? Wouldn’t it be better if we all just went our separate ways? I plan to head to

Eastern Europe once we part.

What about you?”

Even though Zeba couldn’t stand Jarvis, she knew him well enough to realize that if he knew she was leaving

Northern Europe, he’d follow her.

She didn’t want to offend him for no reason, because if she did, it could come back to bite her in the future.

The risk wasn’t worth it.

Zeba knew that unlike the casual complaints she had voiced earlier, any passive sabotage in her actions would be

seen as a great crime in the eyes of the Lord.

So she made the decision to stay in Northern Europe for a few more days, wait for Jarvis to leave, and then make

her own way out of here, to avoid getting tangled up in his lies.

“Let’s go together, Jarvis,” she said, hoping to buy herself some time.

“I want to look around and see if maybe Maria left her ring somewhere when she disappeared.”

Jarvis snorted, shaking his head.

“If that’s the case, he made a big mistake,” he said with a smirk.

Without wasting any more time, Jarvis bid farewell to Zeba.

“I’ll leave first.

Let’s keep in touch!” he said, turning to leave.

As the sun set on the Middle East, night began to fall.

In Cyprus, the copper mine was being quietly evacuated, with the dead soldiers and their families being loaded onto

speedboats one by one.

At the high seas, a freighter that had been remodeled was waiting to take them away.

As the dead soldiers were being evacuated, the demolition team was carrying out the overturning plan.

They were checking all the blasting points in the entire copper mine.

Ever since Charlie had proposed the Nest Overturning Plan, they had laid countless blasting points throughout the

mine, with each one carefully calculated.

Once the order was given, they would install explosives in these blasting points.

The powerful explosives would be enough to blow up the entire underground copper mine in an instant.

This copper mine had undergone a lot of modifications to accommodate the living needs of the dead soldiers,

making its internal space much larger than that of an ordinary copper mine.

Once the bottom was blasted, it would undoubtedly cause the entire ground to collapse, with the depth of the

collapse being at least ten meters.

The military garrison was going to be completely buried hundreds of meters deep underground, and the ground

buildings would be completely destroyed due to the collapse of the ground.

If Charlie wanted to be prudent, he could evacuate everyone from the copper mine and then blow it up, so that the

Warriors Den could profit from it.

But that wasn’t a big enough loss for them.

Instead, Charlie had bigger plans for the copper mine.

He wanted to build a unique super mausoleum for a certain Marshal of the Warriors Den.

This was precisely why he needed close-in defense guns to be put in place as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, a transport convoy was making its way along a sandy road in Syria.

The convoy consisted of more than 40 oil trucks, along with several military off-road vehicles and armored

personnel carriers.

With a deafening roar, the convoy crossed the border and entered Iraq.

These oil trucks were loaded with oil that had been stolen from Syria, and more than half of the transportation

personnel were mercenaries from the Blackwater Company.

Blackwater’s biggest customer was the US government, and they liked to follow the US military around the world to

make money.

When the escort sent the oil convoy to Iraq, it was already late at night, and the troops went straight to the

barracks to rest.

The people from the Blackwater Company, however, lived in marching tents outside the US military base. They had

a small base there, about a hundred people in size.

They had a lot of weapons, equipment, supplies, and ammunition.

Although they weren’t camped in the US military base, they were almost separated from it by a wall.

As a result, they weren’t overly cautious when it came to security.

The person in charge of the camp was busy coordinating the work.

The armed personnel who had just completed the escort were allowed to rest, while he arranged for another team

to return to Syria with the oil convoy after unloading the oil and escorting them tomorrow.

The plan was to return with a convoy full of oil.

No one expected that Wesley, along with Calum Edwards and another six-star general, had already sneaked into

the camp.

Once inside, they immediately selected three sentries on duty.

Since no one dared to attack the US military base directly, their sentries were perfunctory, lacking the caution and

vigilance that they should have had.

Soon, the three sentries were knocked unconscious by Wesley and his team and quietly taken away from the camp.

With this, Charlie’s plan to overturn the nest was fully underway!
