'As far as I know, only one Quasi Chaos Rank cultivator resides in the central universe of
the Aeternus District, on the spiritual mountain that once belonged to my father.
'The Aeternus District still ranked last in terms of power and influence among the nine
districts. We only have a handful of Quasi Chaos Rank cultivators. There are hardly any
Chaos Rank cultivators who are willing to stay here for long.
'As for the Caelum Acme Rank cultivators from the
Aeternus District, those could hardly count as a threat for people like James and Waleria,'
Saachi pondered.
She turned her gaze toward James.
Waleria suggested in an excited voice, "What's there to be afraid of then? The man is only
a Quasi Chaos Rank cultivator. I'll go in there and beat him up first. Then, you guys can
come in and handle the rest of the matter."
James interrupted her, "We shouldn’t act rashly. Saachi's information may be outdated
since she has been away from the Aeternus District for a very long time. The Aeternus
Sect might have gained new members or grown more powerful in some way. We should
investigate before deciding on our next move."
Although James claimed to be helping Saachi with her plans of revenge, James' real
intention was to gain control over the Aeternus Sect.
'The Aeternus Sect is the biggest organization with the highest level of power and
authority in the Aeternus District. I'll gain control over the Aeternus District by having the
Aeternus Sect in my grasp.
'Next, I'll make sure everyone learns of the Aeternus Sect’s name and achievements
during the Hazeaf Gathering,’ James pondered.
Even though James was not the strongest cultivator amongst them, his friends
nonetheless regarded him as the leader of their group. None of them voiced any
opposition to his suggestion.
"Let's go."
At James' command, all of them vanished from the deck of the airship and teleported
toward the Aeternus Universe.
At the Aeternus Sect's headquarters, a man in a yellow robe sat in the most prominent
seat around the meeting table. It was Devin Hael, the current sect leader of the Aeternus
Sect. The man had a heavy build, and he radiated the aura of a stern, powerful leader.
Other than Devin, more than twenty other skilled and experienced cultivators were seated
around the table in the main hall.
Just then, a low and husky voice rang across the room.
"Sir Hael, have you not received any news about the sacred scroll after all this time?"
Devin, a Quasi Chaos Rank cultivator, seemed a little flustered. He hurriedly answered,
"Mr. Dalibor, our men are doing their best to search for it right now. However, it's been a
bit difficult since the Aeternus Mantra has been missing for almost a million epochs. We
lost the item when the daughter of the former sect leader had made an escape from the
Aeternus District."

hearing Devin’s words, the man in a gray robe shouted furiously, "You useless fool! Why
couldn't you get this simple task done?! My patience is running out. If you still can’t locate
the Aeternus Mantra before the Hazeaf Gathering happens, I don't see any point in
keeping the Aeternus Sect around."
If James were one of the meeting attendees, he would immediately recognize that the
man who had just spoken was none other than Wyot Dalibor.
Wyot had reached the Terra Acme Rank back when he fought James during their last
battle. Before being sent to the Endlos' Nine Districts, Wyot had managed to enter the
Boundless for the Caelum Acme Rank. The man had been training diligently and
continuously up to this point.
Like Wynton, Wyot had been sent to the Endlos’ Nine Districts to search for the sacred
scrolls as well. Teresa had met Wyot and shared with him a lot of information that most
people were unaware of. She also stressed that Wyot must bring all nine sacred scrolls
back to their realm.
