Soon enough, James' muscles and skin were fully regenerated as he conducted the closed-
door meditation within the time formation.
However, the injuries caused by the Heavenly Path still remained in various parts of his
body. It would require a long time for James to heal all those injuries.
As James was treating his injuries, he was also thinking back to the entire process of the
Heavenly Tribulation. The incident had brought upon a great enlightenment in him.
James began to generate and develop a complex formation in his head. Gradually, the
same formation appeared right above James' head. The inscriptions within the formation
seemed to be constantly changing, producing a new combination or pattern of the
formation by the second.
Just then, James detected an unusual change in one of the paths contained in his body. It
was the Dark Path.

peculiar. In the beginning, it had manifested itself in the form of a young human child. As
James' powers of the paths increased, the Dark Path grew to become an adult male that
looked just like James.
However, the man was simply just a shell or the manifestation of the Dark Path. It did not
possess any abilities to communicate or process thoughts.
Just a while ago, a shadow-like figure had emerged from the man which was the Dark
Path. The figure was completely black from head to toe. However, James could tell from
the facial features and the figure's overall form that the figure was a split image of him.
At the same time, a mysterious, complex formation appeared in the deepest part of James'
mind. The strange shadow-like figure materialized on top of that formation the next
instant.
James was astonished by the current situation. Then, he tried to move the figure with his
will.
As the shadow-like figure appeared on top of the formation above his head, a tremendous
amount of energy was generated. The energy radiated outward and destroyed the space
around James almost instantaneously.
"What an incredible amount of power!" James did not expect that the figure was able to
generate an aura with the level of the Quasi Chaos Rank.
'The figure could already unleash this amount of power now. If I could master all of the
variations for the formation and work continuously on perfecting it, wouldn't it increase
the powers of this figure even more?!’ James thought.
The man drew a deep breath. Then, he tried to study and understand the mysterious
formation again. Unfortunately, James was unable to generate new combinations within
the formation at his current level of knowledge and cultivation.
Eventually, James decided to put the matter aside for now and lifted the time formation.

Everyone on the airship was staring at James as if they had seen a ghost.
James scratched the tip of his nose. "...Is there something on my face?"
Wynton asked, "What did you learn from the Heavenly Tribulation?"
"That’s a secret." James flashed him an enigmatic smile.
Waleria pouted and complained, 'Why would you keep it a secret from us?! You have one
last chance. Spill it!"
'To tell you the truth, I'm not sure what the formation is yet. I've only managed to
understand bits and pieces of it." James shrugged and slowly shook his head.
Wynona asked, 'What about the shadow-like figure that appeared with the formation? Was
that a clone of you?"
"No...and yes, in some ways." James had a pensive look in his eyes.
Zula snickered, "Whatever does that mean?"
