Wynton emerged from the pit and soared into the sky.
"Impressive."
A dazzling long sword materialized in his hand. It was none other than the Yaneiri Clan's
legendary weapon, the Moonlit Sword.
Wynton gripped onto the Moonlit Sword and began rapidly moving around James.
Countless Sword Energies and inscriptions filled the arena to form a Sword World.
James was instantly trapped in Wynton's Sword World, and a crushing pressure fell on his
body. Even though he had extraordinary physical strength that made his flesh nearly
indestructible, the force of Wynton’s Sword World was enough to cause injuries throughout
his body.
Sword Energies surrounded his body and launched attacks at him.

James summoned the Chaos Sword and slashed his surroundings. Several Sword Energies

Meanwhile, the Moonlit Sword was slowly enlarging above him.
James was suppressed again despite having activated so many techniques and powers.
He was startled by the situation he was in. Initially, the many Supernatural Powers he
possessed gave him hope to be on par with Wynton despite being in a lower cultivation
rank. To his surprise, he was being completely trounced.
'The Nine Voices of Chaos."
James cast the Nine Voices of Chaos to counter Wynton. The Nine Tones immediately
emerged and fused with nine of his Sword Energies to form a massive long sword.
Stange sounds containing horrifying forces began to spread throughout the Sword World
and caused cracks in its barrier.
Outside the Sword World, Wynton suffered a backlash, and blood began dripping from his
lips.
He quickly urged all his strength and commanded the Moonlit Sword to strike.
The sword that James had formed with the Chaos' Nine Voice and his Sword Energies shot
up to the sky to block the Moonlit Sword.
Boom!!!
Immense Sword Path Energy permeated and instantly shattered the Sword World.
The Moonlit Sword was knocked away after the impact. Wynton was also sent flying by the
pervading force but regained his footing at the arena's edge.
James, on the other hand, had also been struck by the force.. He was disheveled, his hair
was scattered, and his body was covered in injuries.
He looked toward Wynton in the distance.
Even though James managed to break the Sword World, Wynton seemed unscathed. Even
though he was also disheveled, he had no evident injuries apart from the blood on his lips.
It was evident that Wynton had the upper hand in the battle.
"Hehe!" James grinned and said, "Although we're one rank apart, I almost tied with you. I’d
definitely be the winner if were in the same rank. Plus, I still have many other trump cards
I didn't use. In a life-and-death battle, I'm sure I could defeat you."
"Is that so? I beg to differ." Wynton smiled.

Wynton was full of confidence. In fact, the Sword World was not his real trump card.

strength that would cause mass destruction. Even James might not be able to survive its
destructive force.
Since it was a friendly match and not a life-and-death duel, there was no need for him to
use extreme means.
"Anyhow, I take that I've won this match." James dispersed his strength, and his aura
gradually weakened.
Wynton also followed suit.
The two descended from the sky and landed in the arena.
Wynton gave James a thumbs up and praised him, "Since ancient times, I've never lost to
an opponent at the same rank as me. I've even defeated countless powerhouses of
different eras that were at a higher cultivation rank than me. You're impressive to have
come close to a tie with me."
