Lucifer was wearing a black robe at the back of the hall.
In the past, he was a powerhouse of the Twelfth Universe. When James had not grown into
a peerless powerhouse yet, they were rivals on par with each other. As time passed, James
surpassed him.
Although not a human, Lucier was born in the Human Universe.
He had attended simply to watch the succession ceremony and was not expecting to be
appointed as one of the Heavenly Lords.
After a brief shock, he recomposed himself and replied, " Thank you, Lord Jacopo!"
"Heavenly Lord of the Seventh Heaven, Helvius Daniela.
"Heavenly Lord of the Eighth Heaven, Silvester Daniela.
"Heavenly Lord of the Ninth Heaven, Xandros Tegan.

The appointment ceremony proceeded for a long time in the main hall. Most of those
assigned as Heavenly Lords were related to James or had contributed significantly to
humanity over the years.
Maxine, on the other hand, was the only one to turn down the position and leave the
Heavenly Court.
She was considered a powerhouse in the current age. Even though she lacked the strength
to transverse the Chaotic Void to other universes, she could go anywhere in the Human
Universe.
Maxine left searching for a spiritual mountain in a desolate area, intending to spend
eternity alone.
After finally finding a place to settle down, a white light suddenly shone in front of her.

A woman materialized from the light.
Although the woman was right before Maxine, her appearance was obscured.
Maxine asked, "W-Who are you?"
While staring at the woman, Maxine took a few steps backward.
The woman examined Maxine from head to toe and nodded in satisfaction. Then, she said,
"Not bad. Do you want to be my disciple?"
"No."
After a brief shock, Maxine quickly turned around and left.
She had lost interest in everything.
The woman was also shocked by her reaction. She had personally come to recruit Maxine
as a disciple but was turned down. Others would ridicule her if word got out that a human
refused her offer.
"You’re not allowed to refuse."
The woman smiled faintly and waved her hand. A powerful force emerged and wrapped
around Maxine. Suddenly, the two disappeared from the area.

The Heavenly Court's various roles were announced.
Apart from James' family and friends, several powerhouses that were unfamiliar to him
were also appointed in different roles.

the highest position being the Heavenly Court's Lord to the lowest being a minor general.
The appointment ceremony lasted for several days.
After it was over, James announced the Heavenly Court’s rules and regulations. After going
through them, they were added to the Heavenly Path. From that point onward, anyone
that violated the Heavenly Court's rules would be judged and punished by Winnie.
