| thought for a minute, then nodded. "But it is more than that."

area. Actually." | closed my eyes and

"What?" My dad cut in.

"The goddess.” | shrugged. "And she didn't tell me. She showed me." | sat back. "She toldlater about how

he betrayed her with another Lycan. She retreated
