end of the day.” He kissed her and then left us to finish our day.

He smiled. "This is a training exercise for you to recognize the flaws in your own designs.

| groaned. "How am | supposed to do that?" | rolled my neck. "I will never have time." Rick just shrugged.

"Can | work on this at home?"
He shook his head. "Nope." | groaned. "I'm honestly not being spiteful. There is just no way to remote into our
system. | created it that way. But if you want, you can bring your laptop in tomorrow and when | have time, | can
make a dummy server on it, so

It must have been longer than | thought when I finished the code, as I finally pulled my eyes away phone rang,
scaring me. | grabbed it from the desk and answered. "Hello?"

She snorted. "Yeah. You're late for dinner. Hurry home." Then she hung up.
| got up and walked out of my office. Alannah was still at her desk, but Ternen was here. "Hey." | looked at them
with a confused look, but Alannah's eyes cut to Rick's door. "Every one is working late tonight." 1 chuckled and
went to my desk to turn things off.

back. Within a minute, my phone rang again as | shut off my computer. | answered on speaker again with a
laugh. "Hey mom. I'm shutting down right now."
"No, | know." She laughed. "Morgan and Shannon said there were busy with Alpha Vince and Brandon tonight,
and | made too much food. Invite your friends from work for dinner."
