Chapter 410
"Forget it. We still have tnow, so let's get sgifts."
Winnie sighed and turned to Yolanda. "Do you still have money on you?"
"Yes." Yolanda wasn't planning on getting Harold anything expensive, because he just wasn't worth it.
Winnie and Yolanda arrived at a nearby mall.
Winnie picked out a fountain pen for Harold.
She had just started working for two years, so she didn't have a high-paying salary yet. She had to pay for her
rent monthly too, so naturally, she didn't have a lot of money to spare.
For someone who would think a long tbefore buying a dress that was more than 500 dollars, it meant a lot
for her to spend a thousand dollars to buy Harold a
fountain pen.
Compared to her paternal relatives, Yolanda's maternal relatives were still considerably normal. Of course, there

according to the original Yolanda's memories.
"Have you thought of what to buy for your father yet, Yolanda?" Winnie asked after she had finished picking out
her gift and saw that Yolanda had nothing in her hands.
"If you don't have enough money, | can lend you some," offered Winnie.
"No need." Yolanda finally decided to get a Harlowe tie for Harold and got the store employee to wrap it up in a
gift box.
"This tie costs ten thousand dollars, Yolanda..." Winnie whispered as she tugged on Yolanda's sleeve. "Do you
have enough money?"
"Yes. | have gotten myself a job, and I don't really use much of my allowance."
"l see."
Winnie had suddenly realized that the Hendersons were pretty well off. She had only subconsciously assumed
that the Henderson family business had a financial issue because Bailee often told her that the Henderson Group
was nothing but an empty shell that didn't earn much.
"I now see that | was too narrow-minded." Winnie frowned slightly as she thought.
"Why do you think Bailee ended up like this, Yolanda? She was pretty adorable when she was younger."
Winnie often played with Bailee when they were younger, and since they were similar in age, they were once
very close for a while. However, as tpassed, Bailee started to change.
Not only did she start gossiping enviously about how the Hendersons had gotten rich and started despising
poorer relatives, but she also grumbled about the low standard companies had when it cto hiring.
Winnie started feeling very pressured when she hung out with Bailee, so she started to distance herself.
"She often bites more than she can chew. She is also endlessly greedy."
Yolanda didn't like Bailee the moment she met her. She was rude and
unreasonable. One of her famed flaws was that she was very arrogant even when she didn't have the
capabilities to back herself up.
"She's still related to us no matter what, but seeing her true colors has really disappointed me." Winnie forced a
smile.
"Whatever. Let's not allow her to ruin our mood. Since we can't share a meal together today, let's do it next
weekend."
"Sure."
Yolanda nodded and walked out of the mall with Winnie.
When they arrived at the Henderson residence, Yolanda noticed three unfamiliar pairs of shoes.
"Wow! Isn't that Yolanda? It's been so long since we saw each other and you're still dressed so pathetically."
Paul was seated casually on the couch with his legs crossed. When he saw Yolanda, he could no longer hide the
resentment and envy in his eyes.
If it weren't for Yolanda getting first place in the entrance exam, he would have already been a student of the
First Academy.
Right now, he had no choice but to study at a low-rank vocational school that was incomparable with First
Academy no matter if it cto the study environment or the people he met. He was very unhappy with that.
Yolanda ignored Paul, but Winnie frowned. She was displeased with Paul's attitude.
However, since Paul was Yolanda's paternal relative, she didn't have a right to say anything about it. She could
only shoot a glare at Paul, but Paul didn't care. He sneered, "What are you looking at?
"If you continue to hang out with Yolanda the bumpkin, you'll end up as lowly as her."
