Chapter 406
Because of Bailee and Eleanor's words, the looks people around gave Yolanda becmore hostile.
"Hah, a repeat offender | see." Lori looked at Yolanda with contempt.
"Now you're caught red-handed. There's no way you can talk your way out of this."
"I didn't steal this key card," Yolanda responded coldly. "You're slandering me. | can take legal action against you
for your words."
"Hah, you didn't steal it? Then how did you get your hands on this key card? Don't tellyou saw it lying on the
side of the road and you picked it up.
"Lettell you the truth. Only the boss of Cerulean Abode could have access to this card. You can't possibly go
to any place that our boss would have gone to, not in this life anyway. How likely are you to pick up his card from
the roadside?"
Lori questioned Yolanda indignantly. At the stime, she silently breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully, she came
out of her office when she heard the commotion.
Not only did she expose that liar, but she also helped Mr. Fuel find his lost key card. She would surely get a raise
and promotion from this!
"Ms. Coles, stop listening to her nonsense. Lettell you, | know her best. She has the worst character, but
she's good at talking.
"She's well versed with twisting the truth to whatever that'll suit her liking," said Eleanor.
"I was just suspicious just now. Yolanda couldn't possibly be able to afford a house here. That's a villa in the
central district worth dozens of millions!
"That's just impossible!" Bailee shrieked.

Eleanor and Bailee took turns speaking as they looked smugly at Yolanda. They were pleased that she had
embarrassed herself publicly.
Tony chimed in as well. "That's right. If | can't afford that villa in the central district, how could she? After all,
she's a poor fool who can't even dress appropriately."
"| didn't think you'd still be unremorseful of your past mistakes. I'm ashamed on Diana's behalf for having a
daughter like you."
"Yes, | feel so ashamed to be related to the likes of you."
Bailee mocked Yolanda freely. All the displeasure she previously had when she saw Yolanda turn up had
completely dissipated. As long as Yolanda had the short end of the stick, she would be happy.
"| advise you to admit your wrongdoings quickly. If they detain you and bring you to the police station, no one
here can help you anymore."
"Logan Fuel gavethis key card as a gift." Yolanda finally had the chance to speak when there was a small lull
in the conversation.
"Hahaha! What did you say?" Lori heard Yolanda and started laughing hysterically.
"How would the likes of you know our boss, Mr. Fuel? Claiming that Mr. Fuel gifted you a villa worth millions of
dollars is absurd!
"You have got to know your limits even when you're bullshitting. Do you really think all of us are fools?"
Not only did Lori not believe Yolanda, but the other people who worked at the sales office did not as well.
Bailee and Eleanor were still looking at Yolanda with contempt.
"Yolanda, you have to face the consequences for your wrongdoings. There's no use trying to talk your way out. If
you refuse to admit that you're wrong, you're going to be detained."
Eleanor pursed her lips. "How unlucky. Today was supposed to be Bailee's happy day for buying a villa, but you
two meddling fools just had to ruin everything."
Eleanor no longer remembered that they were the ones who had asked for Winnie to be there because they
wanted to brag.
"Stop talking nonsense to her, Mom. Let's just sign the agreement now."
Bailee started reading through the agreement she was holding with Eleanor.
"Are you not going to admit you're wrong?" Lori glared sternly at Yolanda. "I'll have to call for security then.
"Cto the sales office, security. We have a thief here!"
Lori started speaking into her walkie-talkie as she contacted the head of security.
At that moment, another troop of people entered the sales office.
"What's the commotion about? This is a sales office, not the wet market." Everyone turned to look at the voice
that had just rang through to see a woman dressed extravagantly walk in with bodyguards.
Yolanda looked at the woman and realized that she was someone that she knew. Monica, Adrian's mother just
walked in.
Bailee saw Monica, and the blood drained from her face. She subconsciously hid behind Eleanor, while trying to
minimize her presence.
She didn't expect to see Monica here.
"What brings you here, Mrs. Fuel?" Lori saw Monica and went up to her with a flattering smile. Then, she pointed
at Yolanda and started complaining.
"This person stole Mr. Fuel's key card. We're about to call security on her to get her detained."
"What? Someone stole my husband's key card?" Monica's face darkened as she barked with a stern voice.
"How dare they do that! Where's the thief?"
"That's her!" Lori shrieked while pointing at Yolanda. "Don't worry, Mrs. Fuel. Security will be here immediately."
"Ms. Henderson?"
Monica was fuming, but when she saw the person Lori was pointing at, she was shaken to the core.
"W-Why are you h—"
"Do you know her, Mrs. Fuel?"
Lori heard how Monica addressed Yolanda and started panicking.
"How could you possibly know Yolanda, Mrs. Fuel? She doesn't cfrom any prestigious background and her
family only runs a rotten company that loses money every single year," Eleanor said in shock.
"Don't mistake her for someone else."
Eleanor and Tony were very surprised.
How would Monica know Yolanda? Why is her attitude so respectful toward Yolanda?
"I'm here to take a look at the villa Mr. Fuel gifted to me, but your manager here accusedof stealing his key
card," Yolanda responded coldly.
"If Mr. Fuel isn't sincere in wanting to givethis gift, then he shouldn't have giventhis key card."
Of course, she knew that Logan and Monica knew nothing about this, but Lori's attitude was too much, and it
disgusted her. That was why she said what she said to Monica to see how she would handle matters.
"I didn't know about this, Ms. Henderson..." Monica panicked.
"How could our gratitude toward you be insincere? I'm sure all of this happened
because people here acted without our knowledge!"
Then, she raised her hand and gave Lori a hard slap.
