Chapter 730 Brad desperately wanted to storm up to Nadine and ask her, "Am I just a stand-in that you've grown tired of?" But he didn't have the courage to do it. He was genuinely afraid of her saying "Yes". Because if she did, he would have no reason left to hold on.
Ever since he found out that Jean had been deceiving him and that he had misjudged Nadine, he began to pay more attention to her, hoping they could build a life together.

Yet now, the only topic left between them was divorce. It was both laughable and tragic.
After signing the last of his documents, he gazed out at the dark night and listened to the howling north wind. In the end, he decided to head to the hospital.
He figured Nadine should be asleep at this hour. Once he arrived at the hospital, he'd take a quick look at her and head home. He wouldn't disturb her.
The mere thought of seeing Nadine, the woman he both loved and loathed, made his heart race. The closer he got to the hospital, the harder his heart pounded, as if it might burst from his chest altogether.
There were nurses on duty in Harborview Hospital's inpatient department. When one of them saw him walk in, a professional smile spread across her face.

Once the surgery is done, he'll be well on his way to recovery." The nurse recognized his face and knew he was the head of the Hamilton family, Adam's beloved grandson. So, she told him about Adam's condition.
Brad listened attentively and glanced at her, acknowledging her efforts. "Well done." The nurse responded calmly, "It's all in a day's work. The ICU isn't open to visitors right now, so you can't visit Mr. Hamilton Senior. It would be best to cback tomorrow." The hospital had its own rules, and even Brad had to follow them. He gave her an appreciative look and said, "Carry on with what you were doing. I'm here to visit another patient." The nurse left him and got back to work. Brad chose not to have his bodyguard with him and headed to Nadine's room alone.
To get to Nadine's room from the ICU, he had to walk down a long hallway that stretched at least half a mile. As he walked alone down the hallway, he unexpectedly spotted a familiar figure.
It was already 11:00 pm, and all the patients should have been asleep. Yet, that figure didn't seem like she was going back to her room anytsoon. Not only was she not returning, but she was also dressed in a thin hospital gown, making her way toward a secluded area.
Brad squinted, eonfirming it was Nadine, and followed her. Nadine was familiar with the hospital's m ar with the layout. She took several twists and turns before sneaking out through a non-monitored exit. She then hailed a cab.
Noticing her suspicious behavior, he was afraid of losing her, so he hailed a cab and followed Xe The two cabs circled around Janctera City for over an hour before stopping at a graveyard. To avoid being noticed, Brad kept his distance, watching her get out of the cab before signaling the driver to stop. By the the got closer, Nadine had already entered the graveyard.
