Chapter 549
After Serenity left, Clara looked down at her sleeping son. She gently touched the child’s tender face
with a pained look.
She remembered the time her son asked her in sign language where his father was.
She could only tell him a terrible lie in heaven.
She did not know how long she could fool the child with that lie. She could not tell him where or who his
father really was.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtWhat should she say? That his father had approached her with malicious intentions from the very
beginning? That when she yelled, “What if I’m pregnant with your child?“, he merely told her coldly,
“You’re not worthy of having my child“?
Yanny’s father never wanted to have a child with her.

The chances of running into each other would always be higher if they were in the same city.
She must try to avoid bumping into Wilson Birch as best she could. She would only feel at ease after
he left Solaria.
Clara’s eyes fell on a photo at the bottom of the news article. It was a photo of Wilson Birch and Sandra
Cooper standing together. Sandra was intimately holding onto Wilson’s arm. She looked really happy.
The two looked like a matching couple. In other people’s eyes, they were made for each other. No one
cared about the woman they drove to the brink of despair who contemplated suicide countless times.
For three years, she deliberately avoided all news of Wilson Birch and Sandra Cooper. She thought
she would feel a lot of resentment and hate if she saw how intimate they were.
But when a photo of them truly appeared before her eyes, she realized that all she felt was calmness,
