Chapter 380 KASMINE.

I must've blacked out the moment that hot iron touched my skin, but I didn't know how long I was gone.

By the tI opened my eyes, everything was spinning. My vision was blurry, my head pounded, and my body felt like it had been dragged through hell.

Because it had.

I was slung over someone's shoulder-one of Nagel's men, I guess. We weren't on the boat anymore. We were somewhere on land.

The air reeked of mold and metal. I couldn't keep my eyes open for long, but I caught glimpses of cracked walls, broken windows, and a filthy wooden floor covered in dirt and old blood stains.

The man droppedharshly on the dusty floor. I groaned but didn't have the strength to do anything else.

My body was fried and numb... but my brain? Oh, it was starting to catch up real quick. I wasn't the only one there. The room that looked like an abandoned living room was full of movement, like ssick deal was about to go down and the devil was already circling the block.

Scary-looking men with big guns moved around urgently, almost as if they were behind schedule for hell.

Girls were also lined up. They looked like if they were given a choice, they would rather be elsewhere than here. Pain screamed through every inch of my body when I forced myself to sit up. This scene was beginning to look scarier than I thought. Every single ache was feeling faded away for a moment.

Iwas Nagel was barking orders and flipping between calls. And from all I was able to gather, speople would be arriving in less than twenty minutes to pick up sproducts.

But why did I feel like these products had nothing to do with substances or industrially made goods? Why did I feel like these so-called products had everything to do with anything with a slit between their legs who were actually in this room right now? And why did I feel like I'd be at the front row of this transaction? I swallowed a dry lump when realization slowly began to set in, and a small, mocking voice began to giggle in my head, snickering like it had already accepted my fate.

"He's not coming to save you." The voice was on constant replay, no matter how hard I tried to shut it out.

1/4 Chapter 380 And the worst part? I was starting to believe it.

My fingers dug into my arms as I hugged my knees to stop myself from shaking as I thought of all the horror I'd go through from this point of my life.

And I had no one to blbut myself.

I didn't even try to hold the tears back. Let them come. There's more where those cfrom. What was the point of pretending to be strong now? "Too thin," I heard Nagel's ugly voice before he gutted one of the girls with his silver knife.

She didn't even have the tto die. She just... fell.

The rest of the girls gasped and shook with fear, but they dared not move.

I saw Alpha Kex pacing restlessly with his phone glued to his ear, dialing number after number. Sweat soaked his collar. And I could swear the oxygen in the room was too limited for him.

Something was definitely wrong.

Another girl screamed before dropping dead to the floor.

"We might need to stop doing business with Draco," Nagel said casually, strolling past a weeping girl without sparing her a glance. “Looks like he's run out of good products." And with that, he gutted the next one.

Wait. This was all normal to him? If he didn't like them, why not let them go? Why waste people's lives just because they aren't up to your expectations? God, I felt so sick to the stomach.

One of Nagel's goons, who was built like a literal wall, leaned close to him and whispered something. Whatever it was, it made Nagel's eyes light up like someone just told him dessert was ready. He nodded, and the brute headed for the locked door across the room.

Seconds later, he dragged out a girl who looked about my age.

She looked... innocent.

Her posture was quite elegant, even though the small, black dress she wore made her look a little like the kind of girl Nagel would approve of. Her skin was smooth, and her hair looked like just walked out of a salon. She looked a little bit calm, but I could still see fear through the cracks of her bravery.

One could mistake her for a model... beautiful to a fault. Her hypnotising blue eyes scanned the place as if 2/4 Chapter 380 she were looking for someone in particular.

How did such a beautiful girl who looked so full of life end up here? I felt pity for her because her life was about to take a sad turn.

Nagel sampled her like the "product" he actually saw her as.

He seemed a bit interested in this one.

"I heard you're untouched, hm?" He said to the girl as his hands began to touch her in places I was so sure she didn't like.

The girl whimpered. I knew it. She was only acting brave.

Maybe she thought acting brave would save her in this situation.

Poor girl.

"I'd like to be the first to touch you," Nagel cracked a laugh before hen added, Let's have a quick taste of you, shall we?" The command didn't need to be spoken twice.

Two of his men grabbed her and dragged her toward the torn-up couch dumped in the corner of the room.

I could feel her pain when she tried to struggle against their strong hold.

"Please. Help!" She screamed and I was moved to laugh.

"There is no help coming, sweetheart.' Or... maybe I was wrong.

Maybe there was help coming after all. Because I knew for certain ! m wasn't the only one who heard a thump just directly above us, followed by the clanking of metal. And with the way Nagel and his men paused, they certainly weren't expecting their business partners to arrive from the roof.

"What the fuck was..."

Nagel didn't even get to finish when we all heard a loud blast and m everything gdrumbling to the ground like someone pulled the plug on gravity. And suddenly, this hellhole had new visitors.
