Chapter 268 Will You Still Marry Him?
Half an hour later, the takeout was delivered.
Samara placed the bag on the dining table and turned to look at Roland, who was on the sofa.
Roland slept quite soundly. Even the doorbell did not wake him up.
Samara raised her eyebrows and walked to the sofa. “Mr. Garza?”
Roland didn’t have any reaction.
Seeing this, Samara walked around the sofa and walked directly to the front. She raised her hand and
gently pushed Roland’s
shoulder. “Roland?”
Just as Samara’s voice faded, a pair of hands held her waist, and Samara didn’t react in time.
The next second, Samara was directly pressed into Roland’s arms.
Samara moved her hands to support her body. Through the thin blanket and Roland’s shirt, Samara
could clearly feel Roland’s body temperature.
Samara subconsciously pulled her hands back. But without the support of her hand, she directly leaned
on Roland.
Roland, who had just woken up, looked at Samara in a daze. He still looked a little sleepy, and his

As Roland spoke, he released his hands and rubbed his temples.
Samara stood up from the sofa and took two steps back. She cleared her throat and said, “The takeout
is here.”
“OK.”
Samara was surprised to see that Roland was so gentle when he had just woken up.
Samara glanced at Roland, turned around, and walked to the dining table.
Just as Samara picked up a food bag, Roland, who was behind her, took the bag over.
“Just leave it to me.”
Roland untied the knot of the bag and said, “You don’t need to do these trifles.”
Samara smiled slightly and asked, “Are you so considerate to every lady?”
Hearing Samara’s words, Roland raised his head and looked at her. “Will you believe me if I say no?”
The smile in Roland’s eyes lessened a bit when he looked at Samara. Roland’s seriousness made
Samara dare not answer.
Samara curved her lips and did not answer Roland’s question. Then, she took the seafood soup from
Roland’s hand.
Roland raised his eyebrows and didn’t continue to ask.
Neither of them spoke again, and the room was in silence now.
Samara didn’t have much appetite. After drinking two–thirds of the soup, she stopped.
On the other hand, Roland had a good appetite. Seeing that Samara had stopped eating, Roland
glanced at her and asked, “Are
you full?”
“Yes,” Samara replied.
Then, Samara took out her phone and looked at the time.
Samara found that two hours had passed.
Roland drank a mouthful of water and looked at Samara. “Are you feeling unwell?”
Samara shook her head. “I just don’t have a good appetite.”
“Oh.”
Roland responded and then ate the remaining food.
After Samara finished eating, she asked Roland directly, “Mr. Garza, are you full?”
Roland looked at her with a half–smile. “What? You want me to leave now?”
Samara smiled, “It’s getting late.”
“Yeah.”
As Roland spoke, he put down the glass in his hand. Then, he continued, “But there’s one more thing I

“What is it?”
Roland asked, “You didn’t rekindle the past romance with Chaim, right?”
Samara was stunned for a moment. Then, she smiled, “What do you think, Mr. Garza?”
Roland didn’t answer Samara’s question. He suddenly took out a jewelry box from his pocket, placed it
on the table, and pushed it to Samara’s front. “A gift for you. I bought it during my business trip.”
Samara glanced at the box and didn’t take it. She said, “I don’t deserve it.”
“Then take it as my apology.”
Hearing Roland’s words, Samara was a little confused. “What do you need to apologize to me for?”
“I accidentally offended you just now.”
Roland was talking about what happened when he just woke up on the sofa. Samara somehow felt a
little embarrassed. She said, “You don’t have to apologize for that.”
Roland smiled at Samara, “Alright. Then, have a good rest.”
After saying that, Roland got up and walked to the entrance.
Samara also got up and followed Roland to the entrance. She stood at the entrance and watched
Roland leave, saying, “I won’t walk you out, Mr. Garza.”
Roland waved his hand and quickly walked to the corridor. Just as Samara was about to close the door,
Roland suddenly walked back. “Samara.”
Roland lowered his eyes and looked at Samara with a serious expression that Samara had never seen
before. “If the person four years ago was not Chaim, would you still marry him?“
