Chapter 376 His Demeanor Yvette wanted to act as if she didn't see Theo's expression, but his demeanor was overwhelmingly intimidating. She had no choice but to casually let go of Sierra's cheeks and take her well-proportioned hand, which was just the right size to be held.
"No. Of course not. I would never chase you two out of here." Douglas hurriedly denied. Walking over to Sierra, he grinned, explaining, "Sierra, I just didn't expect to see you here. That was why I said something stupid. I was just shocked. That's all." Sierra nodded politely, but she had a distant smile.

He even brazenly added, "Melody will be here in a while. Sierra, you'll know how nice she is when you see her in person. Then, you'll feel better about letting her reminisce with Theo. After that, all of us will have a meal together." Sierra grinned faintly. She wasn't sure how she should respond to him, nor did she want to.
"Douglas, are you alright in the head?" Yvette laughed in exasperation and gave him a strange look.

"Douglas, you can be a simp for Melody all you want, but don't expectto do the same." Yvette mocked him without any hesitation. She had no intention to indulge him.
His expression darkened slightly, but he chose to let it slide for Simon's sake.
"Alright, fellows. We're all here, looking like a couple of goofs standing here. Let's go fishing and catch our lunch," Daniel suggested.
The others were okay with the idea and made their way to the fishing zone. During their walk there, Theo stayed next to Sierra, pushing the bushes and tree branches out of her way.
"Sierra, do you know your way around a fishing rod?" Yvette asked softly.
Sierra shook her head in response. Casting an evasive gaze ahead, she chose to look at Yvette instead of Theo.
"I don't know how to do it either, but we have beginner's luck on our side. For all we know, we might be able to walk away with a big catch," Yvette said expectantly.
