Chapter 375 He Needs to Learn the Lesson Douglas actually meddled in Theo's marriage for Melody's sake. He had snerves, risking Theo's rage.
"Hey!" Still not recognizing how big of a mess he had made, Douglas turned around and aired his grievances to Simon. He firmly believed that Yvette was maliciously targeting Melody.
"Simon, we grew up with Melody, and all she wants is a simple gathering. What's so bad about it? Also, your wife is getting nastier and more disrespectful. You ought to keep her in line." Daniel and Simon stopped in their tracks and gave him an exasperated look.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtDouglas was dumbfounded by the way they stared at him. Once Sierra and Yvette were far away, the little doubt in his heart was all but gone.
He continued in a self-righteous tone, "You're terrible too, Simon. You just have to bring Yvette along every twe hang out. It's like you two are conjoined twins. You can't give each other sspace for one freaking second." "Save your bullshit for someone who cares. I don't need space. I'm content as long as she's by my side," Simon snapped at Douglas. It didn't matter whether Yvette was here to hear it.
Daniel noticed that Douglas still hadn't realized his mistake. He sighed and lowered his voice. "We know what Melody is up to. It was fine in the past. She could tackle Theo however she wanted as long as she was happy.
"If he were willing to be together with her, they would've been well matched. The thing is, Theo is married now, and he cares a great deal about Sierra. You're asking for it when you brought Melody into the picture at a tlike this." Douglas pursed his lips. His eyes becshifty as he protested with a mix of emotions, "Melody is actually a great lady." Simon patted Douglas' shoulder and spoke as if he were very experienced in such matters. "Melody could be the most excellent lady in the world, and it still wouldn't have made a difference. Theo doesn't have feelings for her. Reciprocated love is crucial when it comes to a relationship." Theo was particularly cold and indifferent whenever he dealt with Melody. However, his fierce eyes would automatically soften when Sierra was around. All that was left was love and tenderness in them.
The stark contrast in the way he treated Sierra and Melody was very telling. It was obvious that Sierra meant a lot to him.
Douglas just had to have meddled in Theo's marriage for Melody's sake, which meant Theo would make him pay for this.
Swapping glances, Daniel and Simon unanimously decided to stay out of it this time. Douglas had to learn his lesson. It was ill-advised for him to poke his nose in someone's affairs.
Meanwhile, Yvette led Sierra to a glass suite. The views were gorgeous wherever they looked. Sierra might've felt down in the dumps, but she couldn't help taking a few more glances.

"Melody has always wanted Theo for herself, and thasn't diluted her feelings for him. You can't leave. Otherwise, she might snatch your husband from you." Initially, Yvette wanted to pinch Sierra's cheeks for a hot second. However, it felt so good that she couldn't bring herself to let go of them.
Sierra stood there and obediently let Yvette do what she wanted. She blinked and said, "I cuninvited. It's bad, isn't it?"
Moreover, Theo was supposed to meet with Melody. The thought of him meeting his childhoosweetheart left her feeling sour. She wasn't exactly heartbroken, but she couldn't find a word to describe it either.
Yvette grew up with arrogant, braggy friends like Douglas and Daniel. Each one of them were insufferably cocky, and even the most humble of her friends carried a hint of hubris. None of them would stand here and let her pinch their cheeks without any resistance.
She felt so excited to have such a soft and adorable friend that her face reddened. Th Then she replied ΟΠΤ off earnestly, "There's nothing bad. about it. We'll leave this place together if Douglas is not happy about it." "Douglas, tell me. Are you going to chase us out of here?" Yvette asked when she saw Douglas and the others entering the place.
Simon walked over and stood by her side, sending a clear message that he would also follow suit if Yvette left.
As for Theo, he never took his gaze away from Sierra. When he saw the way Yvette pinched Sierra's cheeks, he stared daggers at her.
