Chapter 301 The Backer Sierra had no idea what Theo intended to do. She put on the black coat and allowed him to lead her into the car.

After they were on the road for a while, she turned around and looked at the bag with her clothes. In a puzzling tone, she asked, "Why can't I wear my previous clothes?" Theo tucked his phone away and looked at her. Then, he explained with a smile, "I'm taking you to a new restaurant, and they have a dress code." Sierra thought of her jeans and an oversized sweatshirt. Then, she looked at the traditional outfit she now wore, understanding what he meant.

Meanwhile, he saw how adorable she was, and his eyes flickered. He couldn't resist raising his hand to touch her cheek, but he withdrew it as soon as he made contact.

She blinked and cocked her head to look at his hand, wondering if the earlier sensation was her imagination. "How did the preparation for the competition go?" Theo chuckled and rubbed his fingers.

Sierra immediately looked confident when the talk shifted to the piano competition. She smiled gracefully. "It's going well. I won't get disqualified in the first round, at the very least." She was reminded of the the got injured for her during the Marisol Cup finals. With a little hesitation, she asked, "Are you coming to watchplay this time?" Theo was visibly surprised. Little did he expect her to invite him to the competition.

Sierra also thought that she was being a little abrupt. So, she explained, "You got hit by the corner of a table because of me, which means you didn't get to enjoy the piano festival. So, do you want to experience it again this time?" He could sense that she was being serious about it. There was amusement in his eyes as he nodded. "Sure." Once they arrived at the restaurant, he thoughtfully held her hand and followed a waitress to a floor-to-ceiling window on the second floor.

Sierra took her seat and looked at the gorgeous view in awe. She didn't even notice it when Theo took her coat off.

Daniel was entertaining someone from afar. He was about to cover and greet them, but he couldn't help widening his eyes when he saw what Theo did.

"What a rare sight. I believe I have just seen a miracle." Meanwhile, Theo was done ordering the dishes. He noticed that Sierra was still staring out the window, and he handed her a glass of water with a gentle expression. "Are you tired?" She shook her head without turning sideways to look at him. The glass of water remained in his hand, and he looked somewhat helpless. Then, he rose to his feet and brought the glass to her lips. His voice was deep as he coaxed her.

"Have swater first. Then, you can return to the view." He sounded so much like he was coaxing a little girl that she finally withdrew her gaze from the view. She blushed and reached out to take the glass of water, but he didn't let go.

Having run out of options, she closed her lips on the edge of the glass as he watched her. Then, she fixed her gaze on him and finished half a glass of water.

Sierra felt fine a second ago, but as she gulped the water, she felt a stinging sensation in her throat.

Meanwhile, Daniel was looking at them fervently. He pulled out his cell phone and took spictures, but he decided that wasn't good enough. So, he started recording instead.

Sierra had a wonderful dinner, thanks to how considerate and thoughtful Theo was. If she had a pet peeve about it, it was that she blushed from tto time. By the tthey got up and were ready to leave, Daniel walked over with a smile and greeted them. "Hi, Theo and Sierra."

Theo nodded gently, looking calm.

Meanwhile, Sierra was startled when was she heard Daniel's voice. She glanced a Theo and gritted her teeth. "Hi, Mr. Wells." Daniel gave Theo a playful look and said to her, "Sierra, we don't have to stand on formalities. Just addressby my first name." She glanced at both of them and said submissively, "I'll leave you two to it and head to the restroom." "Be careful." Theo gazed at her pair of high heels.

After Sierra walked away, Daniel hammered Theo's chest and said with a smile, "It looks like you have really found your bliss. You're just here for dinner, yet you're dressed as if you're a groom."

Theo remained unfazed and dusted off the spot where Daniel touched him.

im He said coldly, "I believe you've seen enough. Tto leave."
