Chapter 300 Dinner Janet's impatient voice cfrom outside the door.

Theo stood up and took Sierra's hand. "Let's go down and show Edward. Otherwise, he'll just keep pestering you to change." After thinking for a moment, Sierra agreed. If she refused outrightly to wear the dress, smight think she was deliberately causing trouble. Yet, if she wore it downstairs, everyone would see for themselves that it wasn't suitable.

That way, when she asked to change, no one could object.

As they descended the stairs, Theo held her hand firmly, making sure she didn't lose her balance.

Walking down together, they looked more like a couple about to get married than Benson and Sophie did.

"If I didn't know better, I'd think they were the ones getting married." Jsneered, rolling her eyes. Benson's gaze was locked on Sierra, his heart burning. His taste was impeccable. This dress suited Sierra perfectly.

Sophie's eyes were filled with resentment. She turned to Benson, gritting her teeth so hard she nearly cracked them.

Back when she was choosing her wedding dress, all she received were perfunctory responses whenever she asked him whether it looked good. Yet, when it cto picking a dress for Sierra, he was suddenly so attentive.

Huh! What did Benson take her for? Edward looked at the two of them, his face beaming with satisfaction as he nodded approvingly. "Why don't we just have Sierra and Theo get married at the stime? That way, there's no need to prepare another dress." Theo was focused on Sierra. Only after making sure she was safely down the stairs did he respond. "No, I want to give Sierra a grander wedding." Sophie's expression turned even uglier. She glanced at Benson, hoping for reassurance, but all she saw was disappointment. When she looked at Sierra, hatred burned in her eyes. Any trace of joy she had felt earlier was now completely overshadowed by humiliation.

Standing beside Theo, Sierra smiled sweetly. "This dress isn't really appropriate for a wedding. I'll need to change." No one objected except for Benson, who reacted strongly. "Why? The dress looks great on you. It suits you." Theo took a step forward and shielded Sierra with his tall body. His tone was indifferent as he commented, "I'll prepare her dress. You just focus on taking care of your own fiancée." Benson wanted to say more, but Sophie clung to his arm. "Benson, I'm feeling a bit tired. Can you takeupstairs to rest?" "You're pregnant, so you should get plenty of rest. Benson, take good care of her," Edward instructed, waving his hand. Then, turning to Sierra, he gestured for her to stay. "You two should stay for dinner and head hlater." Sierra didn't immediately agree but instead looked at Theo.

"Dad, I have an international video conference later, and Sierra has been preparing for a competition. We won't be staying for dinner," Theo answered, noticing Sierra rubbing her arm. Without hesitation, he took off his jacket and draped it over her shoulders.

The contrast of the oversized suit against the vibrant dress created a striking visual effect.

Sierra tilted her head up and met his gaze. He was already gazing down at her, and they exchanged a quiet, knowing smile.

Everyone present could sense the subtle but undeniable intimacy between them.

Benson's eyes turned red, his expression conflicted. He refused to believe that Sierra had moved on.

Janet, on the other hand, was seething, desperate to separate them. Not because she particularly wanted Sierra as a daughter-in-law, but because she couldn't stand the thought of Theo getting his hands on Sierra's shares.

Meanwhile, no one noticed the flash of malice in Liam's eyes. He was normally the most mild-mannered of them all, but he looked at Theo with a cold, venomous gaze, like a snake sizing up its prey. "Haha, alright then. Go ahead, but make sure to cback for dinner another time," Edward said happily with a kind expression.

Sierra was about to head upstairs to change when Theo stopped herm "Just keep it on. I'll have someone bring your other clothes down."
