Chapter 4278 Fire Unicorn
“Hey, brat, haven't you already grasped the concept of divine markings? You can lay them out on the ground. By
doing so, you'll provoke a reaction from the existing arcane array, revealing the original array runes!” Vermilion
Demon Lord suggested to Kai.
Kai's eyes lit up. “Of course! Why didn’t | think of that? | didn’t realize you knew so much about arcane arrays
too.”
“After spending so much tinside your consciousness field, I've picked up a thing or two,” Vermilion Demon
Lord chuckled.
Without delay, Kai began inscribing a divine marking. Though he wasn’t sure of the level of the existing arcane
array, he put forth his best effort to create the divine markings. If the markings were too simple, they wouldn't

As Kai laid down his divine markings, the ground began to tremble slightly, and the spirit beasts nearby let out
low growls. The moment Kai's divine markings touched the earth, the array runes on the ground started glowing
brightly, revealing the full extent of the array in clear detail.
Without wasting time, Kai began deciphering the array runes. Within a quarter of an hour, he had cracked the
arcane array, showing that despite its concealment, it wasn’t particularly high-level.
As soon as the array runes was fully deciphered, the ground beneath Kai gave way, revealing a pitch-black hole.
Heat waves surged from the entrance, intensifying the fear in the spirit beasts even more.
After a quick glance, Kai ventured into the cave.
As soon as he stepped inside, the space around him distorted, and to his surprise, he found himself in an entirely
different dimension. It wasn’t underground but a separate dimension, specifically created by the arcane array.
The space wasn’t vast, but the heat was overwhelming, as if he had stepped into a blazing furnace. Fortunately,
Kai had fire nascence and extremus frost flwithin him, so he wasn’t bothered by the heat.
Scanning his surroundings, Kai sought the source of the intense heat.
Suddenly, a burst of flshot toward him. Kai quickly summoned his internal flame, and the two flames
collided violently.
Boom!
The force of the explosion filled the entire space with roaring flames.
Kai noticed a small creature in the corner of the room, its eyes locked on him. The creature had horns on its
head, a body resembling a horse, and was engulfed in flames.

At first glance, it looked similar to the Celestial Devourer that Kai kept in his storage ring.
“Is this another Celestial Devourer?” Kai wondered aloud.
“Nonsense!” Vermillion Demon Lord retorted. “That's a fire unicorn. It's not nearly as powerful as Celestial
Devourer. It's the mount of the Fire Spirit Lord. | didn’t expect this dumb mount to end up in Ethereal Realm.”
“It seems that this little fire unicorn has only recently hatched. No wonder those spirit beasts fell ill and the
cause couldn’t be found. | believe it was simply out of fright.” Vermilion Demon Lord chuckled as he spoke.
Looks like Fire Spirit Lord's mount isn’t the only one that fell into the Ethereal Realm. Fire Spirit Lord himself must
be here too! | guess we're even now.
“The mount of the Fire Spirit Lord?” Kai muttered, recalling when the Fire Spirit Lord had once shown interest in
his Celestial Devourer. He had presented it as a unicorn beast, but the Fire Spirit Lord had been unimpressed,
claiming it was a Celestial Devourer.
It seemed that the Fire Spirit Lord had been hoping for his own mount, the fire unicorn, to be reincarnated or to
produce offsprings.
